No, this post is not an April Fool’s joke…

Homeschool news around the web was a bit light this week, but here are a few noteworthy stories that I’d like to share.

If you follow homeschooling news at all, you’ll know that there have been many similar articles floating around the internet lately discussing the situation with 6-day creationist Ken Ham and the fact that he was disinvited from speaking at some upcoming homeschool conferences for the manner in which he presented his comments against the teachings of Dr. Peter Enns.  Ham claims that Enns is teaching an unbiblical view of the Genesis creation account. Of all the news stories circulating on this topic, this article from the The New American seems to best sum up the situation and the issues at stake.

It is no secret that possible Presidential candidate, Ron Paul, is a friend to the homeschooling movement.  In a recent email to his supporters, he had some things to say about homeschoolers and those thoughts are summed up in the following article.

Lastly, here’s another article reenforcing the fact that the homechooling movement continues to grow.

I hope you all have a great day.
